I want to add prefixes to my files:
For Example:
C:\prt\30\9443a.prt C:\prt\30\309443a.prt
C:\prt\22\5360c.prt C:\prt\22\225360c.prt
I have a long list of files that have to be globally
change to match the directory they are in. I don't want
to change the original name just add to them. I'm
working
in Windows XP.

Thank You

Yvette

Yvette,
Well, actually you do want to rename the files - 309443a is a quite
different name to the computer from 9443a.
You can use a batch file conversion to do so - but, I think you'll have to
write it yourself.
Help is on hand here:

Good luck,
Chek
