I have had this happen before too. I believe it is an
issue of how the desktop wallpaper was applied. if you
put it on there by right clicking and choosing "set as
desktop background" or if you went to the desktop
properties and browsed for the image. I believe that if
you check both of those and be sure that you make the
picture your desktop background in both of those it will
fix the problem.
