Jeanie with alot of Questions
January 8th 04, 07:56 PM
Hello,
Thank you all that responded to my earlier post about my
printer.
I have a lot of questions so please bear with me. I'm not
by any means uneducated, just not in computers. I have
eight years in nursing.
Anyway, I also have a scanner. Now, I must say that I
have had alot of people give me alot of computer stuff,
but beats me how to do it. I took a hammer to my old one
when the wrench did'nt work.
OK. My issue: I have a scanner, fax machine, and 2
printers, 3 cams, a mic, and a whole lot of cords and
disks. I dont want to mess up my new computer so this is
why I need help.
Thank you,
Jeanie

Consider this; donate all the stuff you aren't using to a school or some
charity and claim it on your taxes. With the savings, go down and buy
something you want, be it computer related or not.
Just a thought,
JAX

Jeanie ... perhaps you could take one issue at a time ... are you, in fact,
asking how to connect all the cords to this equipment? If so, no one can,
from a distance, help you with this, so you might ask a friend to assist you
in connecting all of your equipment. If you're asking about specific
questions on XP's installing and handling of different hardware (i.e. the
scanner), please post back.

Hello again,
It should be obviouse that I'm connected so in answer
to you question about connecting...well...I'm connected.
I appreciate any advice.
I know alot of men that are willing to "help" me. I'm
just not willing to "pay" them the way they want to be. I
hope you understand what I am saying here.
This is why I am here in this message board...I want
to be .... educated in the proper manner.
I am not blond.
Thank you Fred,
Jeanie

Recent reports show blondes have less accidents than other hair colours. =

Hi, Jeanie ...
No ... it was NOT obvious that you're connected. Your previous post said
that you had all this equipment and "a whole lot of cords", so it's not so
easy to see what you're asking.
If you have a specific question, feel free to post back here and someone
will definately help you (no 'payment' expected) ... if you'd like to
understand how all this equipment comes together, I'd recommend a computer
class.

Fred
btw ... If I thought you were blonde, I'd recommend placing your monitor
face down on the copy machine to print out emails.

You may not be blond, but that doesn't mean you're not
a moron. Why should it be "obviouse" that you're
connected? Is it not possible that you're using a
computer other than the one you're afraid of? Why not ask
a specific question?
