HID (Human Interface Device)

My new computer at work (Compaq Presario 2500) apparently
does not have HID installed. The two computers I have at
home do have HID. All three computers are working on
Windows XP. How do you config for HID. The two computers
at home are desktop computers, will this make a difference?

HID device is usually for a keyboard or mouse that is connected via the USB
port. If connected via the PS/2 port, you don't get that device.
