Today I just purchased a new Sony VAIO machine with
Windows XP. The machine was a DEMO the only software I
installed is Microsoft Office Student and I configured
outlook express for my email. Now when I start it up I
get and error screen pop up that reads: cannot find a
file necessary to continue virtual truck setup:
G:\RRConnct.exe
Does anyone have a clue how to help me get rid of this?

Check your startup settings to find out what is causing this.
Applications that start with Windows can be found here:
- the WIN.INI, section [windows], entries "run=" and "load="
- the Registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunServices
- the folders
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ALL USERS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\{username}\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP
