Can someone give me the program that opens the window
showing all the programs that are running when you turn
on your computor? I want to turn off several of these
programs.
thanks

The best place to do this is within the program's own options. If you can't
find it there, click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG. Go to the Startup tab.

I can't find any place in Roxio to disable the Project
selector pop-up that runs everytime I start windows.
When I used msconfig.exe to deselect it, I get a message
pop-up everytime that i'm running in select mode. That
the msconfig.exe is really for testing purposes not for
removing startup programs. Should I try to cal Roxio
instead?

After unchecking it in MSCONFIG see www.dougknox.com, Win XP Fixes, Disable
MSConfig Selective Startup Screen and run the small VB Script download.
