Getting to URL's faster

I want to use the RUN command to go specific web sites. For example, I
want to use the RUN command to go to a site like http://groups.yahoo.com .
I would like to RUN Yahoo and get to that site.



When I take the FAVORITES bookmark and create a shortcut .... that shortcut
works. However, when I place that shortcut in the Windows directory for use
by the RUN command, it does NOT work.



Is there a fast easy way to navigate common url's with the RUN command?

Simply type the url in run,then enter.
