You can use AIM to find out ip, insert IP
if you have mIRC put this in your alias
a echo -a $ip
then type /a
it will show your ip
If you have none of the software above,
go to Start menu, and choose accessories, and open command prompt
then type ipconfig
then it will show:
PPP adapter "your internet/loca"
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address ........ : your ip (loca: 127.0.0.1)
Subnet Mask.......: your subnet mask
Default Gateway....: same as ip #
hope this help

Look in at the header of your message to this newsgroup
if you use outlook express.
