View Full Version : Restart doesn't work properly

Hello:
I'm running Windows XP Pro.
I don't know what happened, but I cannot restart my PC anymore. When I click
Restart button, the computer just shuts down. The same happens if I restart
my PC after the installation of a new program - in other words, my PC never
restarts, it shuts down instead.
Not a big problem, but nuisance. Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Thank you very much in advance,

Hi Peter
For shutdown/restart problems, have a look at MVP Jim Eshelman's web =
