I would like my computer to go directly to my desktop
without asking me to click on the Owner box. It just
started asking me to do this out of the blue, I don't
know why, but I wouldlike it to stop. Please help.
Thank you.

Start | Run "control userpasswords2" (no quotes) and click OK. Uncheck the
box that says "Users must enter a user name and password..." Apply and
follow the prompts :-)

Eileen,
Click Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2", and click Ok.=20
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" =
option, and click Ok.=20
>> I don't know why
This problem [not a problem] may occur if you have installed the .NET =
Framework update from WindowsUpdates page. It creates an additional user =
account [visible in UserAccounts applet].
