nothing approved by Windows XP.... Cant install anything!

I have recently upgraded my computer and had to buy a new
copy of XP. I am in the process of instaling everything
back on to my hard drive but nearly everything says that
it cant be installed because the software is not approved
by XP. On my old system it let me install the same
Software im trying to install now and half of the
software is Mircosoft's anyhow.... PLEASE HELP!
