Resizing type in Internet Explorer

Clicking View and marking larger does NOT change the type
size in my browser. This is new copmuter with XP Home.
This worked just fine on previous computer with ME.
Anyone have a fix?

Some websites use fixed font sizes in their code and therefore a change in
the View menu will not change the size. Try going to Google and verifying
the size change.
