HI, your first step should be making sure you have the
appropriate drivers for each device in your system (video
card, sound card, modem, network card). Once you have
those, you may want to backup anything because you will
not be able to access anything that was on your hard drive
before. After that, if you are using WindowsXP, put the cd
in the drive, reboot the computer and it should boot up
from the cd and setup will run. Windows will offer you an
option to format your computer once you get a little
further in setup. Your best bet is to format using quick
format NTFS.
