Unwanted printed copy

When I copy a document I get an unwanted printed page
listing number of pages, words, characters etc. How do I
eliminate this unwanted copy?

What are you copying from? What are you copying to?

Sounds like the extra info about the document is due to a setting in one of
those two programs.
