Print wizard crashes????

When ever I try to print a picture from picture and fax
viewer the print wizard crashes and closes. I run the
print wizard for pictures and when I get to the Picture
layout option screen the wizard crashes and closes out.
The error that does display sometimes is that windows
encountered a problem with explorer.exe and gdiplus.dll
and has to close. I dowloaded the patch for gdiplus but
still get the same problem. What can I do to fix this so
I can print out pics with the wizard?

From the command prompt, type

sfc /scannow

and see if that helps... reboot when it's finished, then try again.
