View Full Version : The Close (X) button of IE6 doesn't close

The close button on the upper right hand corner of the
Internet Explorer (ver.6) window sometimes works,
sometimes doesn't.

Second problem: When I tried to type something on the
question box on some web sites (e.g. search box on the
Microsoft knowledgebase page), the cursor didn't respond.
But sometimes it works fine on other web sites when I did
the same thing. I checked the hardware. It was not the
keyboard problem.

Please help. Thanks!@

It sounds like IE is freezing up on you. Did this only recently start
happening? There might be a misbehaved plug-in that could be causing your
problems.

Yes, it started happening recently. I don't know which
plug-in causing the problem though. What do you suggest I
do?
