Help. Window XP won't boot? Is it virus?

My computer had Window Xp Pro on it. A few days ago, when
I logged on, window became a blue screen with message that
a device I just installed was not working and need to shut
down to protect computer though I never installed any
device these days. When booting machine again, the blue
screen appears again when window is loading with the same
message. Again, when I started up computer again, It does
not boot, enen no BIOS loading.

Some one knows it is virus? Do you have a solution to fix?
