I am going crazy here. I can't figure out how to remove
programs that begin running at startup. I have
accumulated a lot of these and I believe it is impairing
performance on my machine.
Can anyone help me??
My thanks.

Start, run, type in msconfig, click ok, Do they appear in the startup list.
If yes, you can prevent their startup here.
