About 3 weeks ago, my internet explorer home page kept
coming up to a Search With Pleasure engine and pop-ups
became a problem even with a pop-up killer.
We tried a Spy-ware program and every time it would come
up with this winshow hyjacker file. When quarantined and
deleted, the computer ran fine uptil you turned it off
and back on.
I tried showing hidden files and traced the path to a
winshow folder with a winshow.dll file in it. When
deleted, it re-appears next time I turn the computer on.
I tried archiving, compressing, and pass-wording the
winshow folder, but even that does not prevent the file
from retuning and the Search with Pleasure browser.
Any ideas?
