Using Roxio East CD Creator on XP SP1. Is there a way to squeeze 713 MB of
data onto a 700 MB CD? Or do I just have to get a bigger CD?

If it's only for archiving, why not just zip a few seldom-used large files?

I gave away Roxio and now always use Nero, I just now dragged 720MB of files
into it, it was close, but still hadn't reached the red over-capacity point.
