My Norton Utilities disk doctor says there is a bad block and is trying to
copy all the data to a new block without positive results but the block with
problem is one of the Win XP important data and is not letting the pc boot,
when in DOS I can see all folders but meaning the HD is still working but I
need to reinstall Win XP to have it booted normally so I can buy a news HD.
1-How to know what was lost on the bad block?
2-How to reinstall windows using the windows CD?
3-Can you suggest any solution to my case without having to reinstall, just
copying the new files from the CD over the bad and expect it will be
copied to a good block!
4-Win XP CD has disk recovery tools? if yes, how to use them?
