Sony Vaio p4 2.66 GHz laptop running Windows XP Home
I removed the touchpad icon from my system tray one day,
to conserve resources for the moment, and now whenever i
boot my laptop, it's never there.... i went to the device
manager and it only lists my external mouse that i also
have... i can still use it as a mouse, but other
functions such as sliding (scrolling using a side of the
touch pad)are no longer functioning and it's kind of too
late to use the system restore...
