After upgrading from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home
addition, the system was very slow. I had the ram
upgraded and when the system was returned, all of the
fonts and incons were much smaller. I enlarged the fonts
on the display, but the welcome window, the start tool
bar, the pictures, words, on web sites, emails, etc all
remain much smaller than before. How do I change this?
Thanks for your help.

Did they (doers of ram upgrade) maybe change your screen resolution? RClick
on empty space on desktop, goto settings-tab, move slider left to lower
resolution (icons, text etc bigger, BUT less stuff fits on screen), click
Apply and OK
