Can it be loaded. I keep getting error message the
Windows cannot read fromthe disk. Do I need to uninstall
XP Home and reinstall Windows 98 to be able to load
Office 2000?

No you dont need to install Windows 98, but please post your question in the
Microsoft Office Newsgroup

Can you read other CDs? That sounds like a problem with either
the drive or the particular CD.
