printer on xp pro sharing with xp home

I can share files between both and have ip and netbios protocals installed. I can see the printer in net hood but cannot access it. Error is bad name or lost net connection. Neither is correct. I can't access by ip or name. I'm lost, any idea's please?

Check the Shared Name of the printer.... it must not have any spaces in it
or be over 12 characters/numbers.
