I got on computer this morning, Click on my home page. Then
a bunch of pictures appeared like a slide show. It wiped
out my Desktop themes and made itself the default theme.I
want to restore my themes- how? It also changed the names
of my hard drives - to gross to name it. Another thing it
did was add a message at top of any web page ("G*YSE* IS
GREAT".) How do I get that off?

First off, you are on a broadband connection. Are you using a firewall like
the free version of Zone Alarm?

If you don't have a firewall, it's like not having doors on your home.

Your PC is also probably loaded with spyware.

There is an excellent article about spyware in PC Magazine:

Their Editor's Choice is Spybot for spyware removal. It's free.

Well it certainly sounds like a hack, if not just something that was run on
the machine from a website. I would recommend using spyware removal and
detection tools on the machine, enabling the firewall and doing a good virus
scan on the machine.
