View Full Version : cant connect to ISP

I have tried everything under the sun to get this PC to
connect to my ISP, consistantly. It will connect
occassionally. I have deleted all connections, and
recreated them. I put in a new modem, which does the same
thing. I have tried a different PC on the same phone
line. It worked fine. I have tried this dial-up account
on a different PC, that also worked fine. Also have
upgraded the modem drivers. I am stumped. Have also
checked all settings vs. another PC. Could this be dial-
up connections or TCP/IP programs? Or would Qos packet
scheduler have anything to do with this? Help please???

Call the ISP tech support. If they're like mine, they should walk you
through the procedure to determine what problems could exist and/or assist
in reconfiguration.
