SP!? SP2?

Hiya Peoples.
I'm taking a guess that SP meens Service Pack.
How do I tell what i've got & what's the differance? What should I have?

SP does indeed mean service pack. To this date, only SP1 has been released
to the general public, though SP2 is currently in beta testinging right now.
Service packs fix various security issues and bugs on the OS.

To tell which version of windows you are running, click Start -> run & type
in winver & click OK...

Hi

Type 'winver' - without the quotes - from Start>Run. It will tell you =
there which version of XP you have. You will probably have either SP1 =
or SP1a installed.
