If you bought an MS OEM version of XP (like from newegg), for the next MS OS
(XP 64 bit?) can you use an Upgrade version? Will the upgrade version
happily accept the OEM CD? Or would you have to get another OEM or the Full
version?
TIA - Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Generic OEM versions usually qualify for upgrades, but that is no guarantee
that they will in the future.

I havent tested this in house but Rick is correct. The generic OEM media
that you get from egghead and the like are typically unmodified retail
media.
