Is it possible to arrange the programs in the start menu
alphabetically? I see a sort button in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties
box, but I can't make it work. Thanks.

Right-click on the list and choose "Sort by name."

You also need to have the cursor over a program (highlighted) to make it =
work.

If wanted, you can download a permanent fix for your menu and
favorites at line 196, left "sort all by alphabet... ":

Good point, mrtee. "Sort by Name" will not appear if a start menu folder is
highlighted. Must have the focus on a shortcut to a file (program or other
type) for this to work, as you've noted.
