How can I tell if I have 32-bit or 64-bit windows XP? Per
the FAQ's, 64-bit won't allow spell check to work in
outlook express version 6. And yes, I have WORD installed
too.

You have the 32 bit version.

Windows XP Home = 32 bit.
Windows XP Pro = 32 bit.
Windows XP Media Center Edition = 32 bit
Windows XP Tablet PC Edition = 32 bit
Windows XP 64 bit Edition = 64 bit.

Start>>run>>Type in: "winver"

You have 32bit most likely - 99.98% Chance. If you have XP Home it is for
sure 32bit. To be sure goto Start>>Run>>Type "winver" if you see 64-bit in
there anywhere u have 64 it it does not say 64 then u have 32.

Time to read something. If your computer is 'older' then
March 2003 then it is 32-bit system. Article does not
seem to be for home personal use.
