I did a virus scan on my pc and two files came up as "potentially unwanted files" but no virus was detected. I quaranteened the two files and submitted them to McAfee for analysis and they responded saying I should update my DAT files and rescan. I don't k
now what DAT is???? The properties for both these files show they've been on my pc since last year so I don't know why they are showing up as unwanted files now.

The DAT files contain virus definitions for your antivirus program.
You may safely delete them, then update your antivirus program.
