I need the registry key to NOT display Network Connections in the Start
Menu.

I know how to do this manually (control panel,taskbar and start menu
properties,start menu,customize,advanced,network connections,Don't display
this item)

If there's a good method or utility to use to do this sort of thing I'd be
interested. I tried Regmon from Sysinternals,
(http://www.winguides.com/software/display.php/26/) but it seems unless one
generally knows what to look for, the alternative is so much output it's
hard to see what/where this shows up in the registry after making this
change manually.......

thanks for any help,

Of course as soon as I posted this I think I found it (based on another
value I had changed in the same key)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Advanc
ed]
"Start_ShowNetConn"=dword:00000000
