I keep loosing my home page at start up. a search engine
is in it's place.I go to controll panel,internet
opitons,internet properties,then click default then apply
and everything is ok until I start up next time.Any help
is greatly appreciated.

First, scan the system for parasites and remove them. SpyBot S&D searches
your harddisk for Spyware and Adware

Adaware (similar)
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
(Remember to perform a Webupdate to have the latest definitions installed)

This will remove malware from the PC. Now, reset the homepage setting.

Yeah, you've gotten into some spyware, adware, etc. Google the name of the
search engine, Xupiter for example, and follow the instructions for getting
rid of it.
