Cd-Rom problems

Hi Folks,
Any know how to solve this problkem.
My CD-rom doesn't recognize the CD.
Evrthying else checks out fine.
There's no problem in device dreievrs,
Its recognized at boot time, but it just doesn't
recognize when I put a CC in. , Thanks Mike

try several other cd's if they dont work either then its the drive. if they
do work try the cd in another computer, it could be a bad cd. if its a cdr
that was made on another computer it could have been created with read only
on that machine that it was written on, i.e. it will not work on any other
machine.

Try a CD lens cleaner disc, it may help.
