on your browser go to tools>internet
options>privacy...there, there's an "edit button", where
you can tell XP which cookies from which websites to
accept or to block...also on your ISP software there
should be more options: I have compuserve and under
Access>preferences>privacy, there's a nifty little button
where I can reject ALL cookies, accept the ones that get
sent back to the site or accept all...be carefull...your
computer sometimes NEEDS the cookies: some websites (like
your Bank's <if you do internet banking> will NOT function
without the cookies.....it's best to program your browser
to empty it's temporary internet files after closing
it...or, just before you shut down your computeer, empty
the cache of temp files...it only takes a few seconds.
