xp pest system restore problem

[Oxymel of Squill]

I did a system restore, which was supposed not to impact on files and
databases, but it has wrecked database files held in Blackwell Idealist and
also web page files in NetObjects Fusion

Does anyone know how to undo the damage MS has wrought this time

You can indeed lose files when using the System Restore utility. See the

Be very careful about system restore, I just did it last week. I lost
everything and even had to re-activate my XP Pro. It was nightmare!
