Hi Folks,
I have a CD-ROM drive that test fine in every area.
1)Except it doesn't recognize or play any CD
(though 1 month ago it worked fine)
2)I've tried everything so far to fix it
3)In my windows error log, it says there's a bad block
4)Your help is needed, Thanks Mike

Hi Mike,
Have you tried replacing the controller cable yet? Bad block can indicate a
failed IDE controller, might be a motherboard problem, but more likely it
would be a cabling problem. Reseating (both ends) often helps.
