Start Bar Glitch

[Diddy Kong]

Here's a weird one.

Every once in awhile, the Internet Explorer icon disappears from my start
bar (quick launch toolbar), until I restart my computer.

Any guesses as to why this happens?

What do you mean?
I keep the icon on the far left of my start bar.
