I'm trying to save server space by burning rarely used
files to CD, but I need to maintain the names of the
files on the server so I know where they are archived.

It seems like there must be an easy way to save as text
or html the results of a search or list of files in a
folder from Windows Explorer, but I can't find this. I'm
sure that this is an issue for others, how have you dealt
with this?

If it is possible, is this functionality in XP, 2000, 98,
or other versions of Windows?
