biosinfo.inf could not be loaded, error 4112

I am using the setup boot disks downloaded off of
microsoft's website. I am starting with a freshly
formatted hdd, so I have no o.s. at the moment. I keep
getting the error 4112--biosinfo.inf could not be loaded.
Can someone tell me what to do at this point?:~)

You need to obtain and install an update for your BIOS.

Why are you using the XP disks? Can't your PC boot from the XP CD?

What type of Windows XP CD are you using?
Is it OEM, if so did it come with this computer?
Does the computer meet or exceed the minimum specifications:

Try it this way:
Disconnect all peripherals (camera, printer, scanner, etc)
Go to BIOS and set CDROM as boot device before hard drive.
Insert Windows XP CD and reboot.
At "Press any key to boot to CDROM" quickly press a key and follow the
prompts for a Clean installation:
http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_sg_clean.asp
Delete all partitions in step 5 if you desire to erase all data on the
hard drive.
Partitioning and formatting will be done automatically.
All data will be destroyed, back-up important data first.
