Robert,
I don't have an answer to your problem, but I do have a
problem that you may have an answer because you have a
windows 95 box on your network.
I am trying to establish a network of two boxes, the Dell
Xp box and my old windows 95 box. I have established a
network and can share devices, files, etc. What I cannot
share is ICS. When I try to install, I get the following
message:
Cannot enable shared access
Error 1061: This service cannot accept control messages
at this time.
I have set my host IP (Dell) to 192.168.0.1 and the win95
box to 192.168.0.1
If you can offer any suggestions I sure would appreciate
it. I get the feeling it may have something to do with
IP addresses, or am missing something on the win95 box.
Michael.
