Clear DayIf the computer loses time while running, it is NOT the
battery.
Losing time is most likely an issue with applications or Dell
computers have an issue and resolution for losing time.
More details are needed before the battery (least likely actually) is
blamed.

Clear DayJim;
When did it start happening?
How much time over what period of time?
Does time get back to normal after reboot?
If yes it is definately not the battery.
If it loses time while running, it is not the battery.
Check your clock settings, including time zone.
Did you change anything on the computer near when it started?
Many applications can have an effect on the time.
Contact the computer manufacturer (especially if it is a Dell).
