Suz,
It is called "Clear History", and he did say that he wanted to remove =
individual addresses.
Anyway yellowhaired, if you want to remove them all, Suz's instructions =
does it, but if you want to remove certain addresses, then click =
start/run, and type (no quotes) "regedit". Then go to this tree;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
You'll see the list of addresses there and you can delete the ones you =
don't want. Be sure you don't have Internet Explorer opened during this =
or it won't work. As a side note, going into the registry can cause =
problems if you remove or change something other than posted, so do so =
at your own risk.

You think that it is a good idea to send a new user to the Registry and edit
it?..

If you want to delete selected URLs, then run regedit.exe
Goto the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
Delete teh unwanted urls from the right pane.
Sincerely,
Ramesh
