Is this a legitimate message from micrsoft. At the bottom
there is an attachment indicating patch364.exe. It
appeared very suspiciious to me especially since I get
routine window updates where I access from task bar which
indicates that there are updates.

Hi Bob,
That is not a legitimate email from Microsoft. Microsoft never distribute
any updates attached to an email, they will always link to the update on a
Microsoft.com site. The file attached to the email will almost certainly
contain a virus so I would delete message.

I have rec'd this e-mail 10 times, 5 of which contained a
worm virus and my NAV caught them all. I hope your AV
program is updated with the latest definitions. You're
also better off to keep your "Preview" toggled off and
toggle it on only after you have scrutinized all messages.
