Ok guys im back :)

I have Xp i am using a netwave blitzz AP/router
I am using a linksys card

Well what was happening was i was getting connected but
every few seconds it would tell me that another connection
was availible and it would boot me offline. Well i went
through everything from upgrading the firmware on the
router to trying to set up a static ip (that went well)

Well i have finally found that if i allow the Wireless
zero config service to run it will put me on the network
but i have to stop it after it sets up the connection or
it will continue to ask me if i want to connect to the
network again.

Does anyone know how to fix this instead of starting the
service and stopping it every time i start the comp. I see
there are parameters that i can set but i dont know what
they are or how to do it.. Help... :) please

Have you changed the channel from the default and changed the SSID? Are you
broadcasting the SSID? Are there other access points in range? Is 802.1x
authentication turned off/unmarked?

Yes i have changed the channel. Yes i have changed the
ssid, yes i am broadcasting the ssid, there was an ap near
me but my father in law took it back since i was having
problems :D and on the authentication tab i have Enable
IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network and
Authentication as computer when computer information is
availible checked the other is unchecked.

You need to UNcheck 802.1x authentication

So if i remove that check should i be able to leave
wireless zero config on? and not have the problem? (the
problem was i would get booted off every few minutes
telling me that other networks are availible. although the
only network that is availible is the one i am using)
