I will be working along and all of a sudden everything
locks up. I can't do anything except hold down the off
button. The occurrance of this is increasing day by day.
Has anyone else had this problem. I am using a Compaq
700z laptop 1.2GHZ with 384k memory.

Have you updated all of your drivers to the individual hardware manufactures
XP drivers?
