You don't say which version of Money that you're using. A similar problem
occurs with PictureIt! and sending mail from Outlook Express:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q294731
Note: the utility referenced in the above KB Article WILL NOT fix your
problem.
The best you could do at this point is to click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\SharedDLLs
Right click on the SharedDLL's subkey and select Export. This creates a REG
file that can be re-imported later, if you find that you've made a mistake.
Once you've created the Export file, look in the right pane for any value
that references the folder that Money is installed in. Right click it and
select Delete. Repeat whatever steps are necessary to get the installer to
open. If it doesn't, you've found your problem. If it does, continue on
until you've found the culprit. Import the REG file that was created
earlier and then re-delete the problem value.
