did windows update on XP home edition and now computer
wont load rest of windows past network login. Getting
error message : userinit.exe failed to intialize properly
(0x0000005) anyone know what to do to get this computer
to run again?

Is that the exact error message?
Is there more to the error message than what you posted?
Do you get the same error if you try to go to safe mode?

By the way, did you disable your anti virus program before installing that
