It isn't your server, at least I don't think so. I am
having an identical problem using a XP Pro as a file server
and am having the same problem you are. I have found since
my message of 7/21, however, that if a period of time is
allowed to expire, sign on from the workstation seems to
occur, and the drive IS connected. See my post 7/21, look
at details from "My Computer" for the mapped drive and see
if your details don't say the drive is disconnected even
though you can browse it. I'm interested. I am afraid I
don't have a bottom end time on this connect issue yet
though. I told the troops to try different times until
they get a fail to connect but they are busy and are not
helping a lot right now.
